'Fear On The Rise' - THE MEMOIRS

JON C BUTLER - When The Walls Went Down

THE MEMOIRS play loud, dirty, guitar-fuelled alt rock. "It's like standing in the face of a Hurricane" quipped one well-known UK critic.

The band - Ned Jones (vocals), Seb Doyle (guitar), Alex Perry (guitar), Jamie Irving (bass), James Lyons (drums) - met at Nottingham University & subsequently dropped out to form the band.

'Fear On The Rise' is the follow up to debut EP 'Means to An End' and is another blistering slice of angular, twin-guitared indie rock that swaggers with style and attitude.

"Huge. Huge Sound" BBC Introducing

"Soaring Guitars and driving vocal hooks. Uplifting" It's All Indie

Lyrically the song is about knowing you need to change as a person, but being scared of the process; about finding it hard to relate to the people around you but recognising it’s you who needs to grow
— Ned Jones

Fear on the Rise, who is it that speaks for you?

Fear on the Rise, can you hear them calling?

They're calling... You

'Fear On The Rise' was written by the band and produced by Monkey Gun. It is released on August 31 2018 via Strataville
